The history of our company began in 1984 on a farm in Buchbach (Mühldorf district, Bavaria) – with an idea and entrepreneurial courage. Inspired by an innovative calf-delivery aid used by his father, Isidor, Albert Kerbl founded his own company with the aim of offering farmers practical solutions.
Over the years, we have grown, evolved and entered new markets. Throughout this time, we have remained an independent family business, guided by our values and our standards. The most significant steps along our journey are recorded in our milestones.
1984
Albert Kerbl founded Albert Kerbl GmbH on his parents’ farm. The company’s headquarters are still based there today.
1993
Our partnership with CANEXPOL Sp. z o.o. represents a targeted expansion of our expertise as a manufacturer and the start of our international growth.
1997
The establishment of Kerbl France S.a.r.l. marks the next step in our expansion across Europe.
2000
With the acquisition of AKO-Agrartechnik GmbH & Co. KG in Wangen im Allgäu, we are strengthening our expertise in pasture fencing technology – with quality that is made in Germany.
2003
The launch of Kerbl Austria Handels GmbH underscores our growth in German-speaking countries.
2005
Through our partnership with LubaCell Sp. z o.o., we are expanding our expertise in battery production and strengthening the development of our own energy solutions for the agricultural sector.
2006
Our first production partnership in the Far East marks the expansion of our international manufacturing operations and creates additional production capacity.
2009
With our new logistics centre in Ampfing, we are responding to growing demands in the areas of shipping and warehousing and laying the foundations for further growth.
2010
The launch of Kerbl as a manufacturer’s brand is the logical outcome of our sustained investment in development and production.
2014
With the first expansion of our logistics centre in Ampfing, we are increasing our capacity and improving the quality of our service.

The establishment of Kerbl East Sp. z o.o. in Poland is an important step towards consolidating our market position in Eastern Europe in the long term.

By integrating Bucas Ltd. in Ireland, we are expanding our expertise in equestrian equipment and continuing to grow internationally.

The second expansion of our logistics centre in Ampfing doubles our storage capacity and automates internal warehouse processes: an investment in the future and a statement of support for the location.

Through our partnership with Seilerei Kösters GmbH, we are strengthening our own production of high-quality materials for pasture fencing and further expanding our manufacturing operations in Germany.
