Seilerei Kösters GmbH
The Seilerei Kösters GmbH is a long-established manufacturer of rope and cordage and is now a specialist production partner for the agricultural and electric fencing trade. At its site in Emmerich am Rhein, the company has been manufacturing ropes and braided products for several centuries. Today, the clear focus is on high-quality electric fencing tapes, strands and ropes of the very highest standard – made in Germany. Since 1 January 2024, the Seilerei Kösters GmbH has been part of the Kerbl Group.
A look inside the production facility
All materials for pasture fencing are manufactured exclusively in Emmerich – 100% made in Germany. At the heart of the production process is our in-house braiding workshop, where high-quality braided ropes and strands are produced on almost fully automated machinery. In addition to the standard range, we can accommodate individual customer specifications – for example, regarding the number of strands, materials, diameter, colours or packaging units.
