Viscous and non-drip: the gel-like consistency allows for precise, clean application and excellent wetting of the transducer. The scanner gel remains securely in place at the examination site and does not soil your equipment.

Optimal sound transmission: Rheintechnik’s ultrasound gel is manufactured under vacuum and is completely free of bubbles. As a reliable contact gel, it forms a bond between the transducer and the skin, enabling clear ultrasound images.

Gentle on the skin and equipment: the pH neutral scanner gel is mild on the skin and gentle on plastics and the transducer. It is free from formaldehyde, colourants and fragrances, and is non-irritating.

Water-soluble and easy to remove: after the ultrasound scan, the contact gel can simply be wiped off the skin, transducer or clothing. This helps ensure clean and efficient workflows during every examination.

Used in veterinary medicine and agriculture: non-sterile and intended for external use, it is available in container sizes to suit your needs: as a 250 ml bottle or in a 5-litre refill canister with a screw fastener
