Efficient oestrus detection: this water-based marking paint is a cost-effective and efficient way of monitoring cows for oestrus. This increases the insemination success, reduces the number of non-pregnant animals and lowers reproduction costs.

Easily recognisable animals in heat: the dye is applied to the base of the tail and is rubbed off when the animals jump on each other. This makes it easy to recognise animals in heat, which facilitates reproduction management.

Cycle-based labelling: using a colour scheme, the cows can be identified differently depending on the cycle, from no oestrus cycle to waiting for insemination to repeated insemination.

Increased visibility and safety: with bright colours (red, blue, green, orange), the marking paint is much more visible than conventional products. It also contains a bitter substance to prevent the animals from licking it off.

Easy to apply: with the optional tailpainter applicator, the marking paint can be applied easily and precisely.

Recommendations for use:

Six weeks before you start inseminating, mark the whole herd with the 1st colour (red).

Worn-off dye indicates that the animal is in heat. Animals in heat are marked until the start of insemination with the second colour (blue).

Inseminations can begin after six weeks. Animals still marked in red that do not have a cycle should be examined by a vet and treated if necessary.

All inseminated animals are marked with the third colour (green).

Animals that are inseminated repeatedly are marked with the 4th colour (orange).
