Display: the LED fence tester is equipped with 10 LEDs. The top 9 indicate the fence voltage: Red = CHECK: < 2,000 V, Yellow: 3,000–4,000 V, Green: 5,000–10,000 V. An additional LED in the middle indicates the condition of the 9 V block battery
Should the current measurable fence voltage not reach 2 kV (2000 V), the fence insulation must be carefully checked for discharges (grass, etc.), as must the earthing of the fence device itself
