From 16 to 25 January 2026, Berlin hosted the Grüne Woche, which celebrated its 100th anniversary this year. The fair focused on topics such as food security, agricultural technology, sustainability and rural development. Around 300,000 visitors were able to discover traditional products and international specialities in various themed worlds, find out about current trends in agriculture and gather ideas for sustainable lifestyles and horticulture.

Albert Kerbl GmbH was represented at Grüne Woche for the first time, presenting selected products from the agricultural supplies, fencing as well as horse and rider segment: The exhibition featured practical solutions from the Kerbl brand for animal-friendly livestock farming, modern pasture fencing systems from AKO – including solar-powered devices and digital control via the AKO Smart App – as well as powerful battery-powered and mains-powered devices from Aesculap Clippers and inhalation devices for horses from Hippomed .

The livestock hall showcased cattle, sheep, goats, donkeys, mules and horses, as well as five different types of husbandry methods – ranging from conventional stable housing to organic standards. Albert Kerbl GmbH exhibited electric cattle brushes and manual scratch brushes from the HAPPYCOW brand, which are specifically designed to promote animal welfare: The livestock brushes, developed and produced in Germany, support the animals' independent grooming and contribute to a positive stable climate.

Parallel to Grüne Woche, the Global Forum for Food and Agriculture (GFFA) was held, an international conference on key future issues in agricultural and food policy. This year's focus was on discussions about sustainable water use, food security and international water governance, with the participation of representatives from politics, science, business and civil society.
The conference also hosted the world's largest informal agricultural ministers' conference. More than 60 agricultural ministers from around the world exchanged views on the topic of "Water. Harvests. Our Future" and adopted a joint political communiqué. Accompanying this, delegation tours were conducted at Grüne Woche to provide insights into German agriculture and promote exchange with companies in the agricultural and food industry. Three delegation groups from South America and Africa also visited the exhibition stand of Albert Kerbl GmbH.
