Valve Water Level

Water Level is the ideal valve to keep a certain constant level of water in a trough, container etc.
especially suitable for newly-weaned piglets, which learn to drink best when they have access to a water surface and for farrowing pens ensuring that there is always water in the trough
The benefits: The valve maintains constant water level (just as a float valve will) but cleaning is far easier since the valve body itself is installed about 1.0 m above the water surface
Function: Water Level operates with the aid of vacuum, which acts on a rubber diaphragm and so blocks the flow of water. The valve is equipped with an integrated locking mechanism, so that each valve can close individually.

Usage tips:

Constant pressure of 1 to 3 bar – or use pressure reducer
Clean water – or filter, so that the Water Level does not become clogged
Seal for the input/output from the tube (with PTFE and sealing strip), preventing false air
Water capacity must be sufficient (pipeline)
Clean/replace the membrane by twisting the bayonet lock
Water level in the trough is 4-5 cm high for sows, which prevents feed getting into the pipe
