The filtration of raw milk is an important component in milk production. The milk filter has the following tasks:
- Cleaning the milk from coarse dirt particles (manure, hair, straw, insects, etc.)
- Detecting udder diseases in the herd (milk flakes)
- Monitoring udder cleaning
When buying a milk filter, it is important to choose the right size and quality. Filters that are too small cannot be fixed properly or are already damaged when inserted. Filters that are too large, on the other hand, fit too loosely or overlap and are damaged by higher vibrations and interfere with the filtration process.
Kerbl produces and sells a wide range of milk filters under the SANA brand (welded and sewn) in order to be able to offer a suitable milk filter for every farmer and every milking system.
In order to meet the increasing demands in milk production, Kerbl has developed a premium version for the SANA brand. By optimising the fibre distribution, the Premium filter offers even higher tear resistance and finest filtration while taking into account the necessary permeability for raw milk. Therefore, this filter is especially suitable for large milk quantities and the highest requirements.
